Stephania japonica extract, the name of Chinese medicine. It is the root or stem and leaves of Stephania japonica (Thunb.) Miers. [Menispermum japonicum Thunb.], Which is a plant of the genus Echinochloa. Distributed in Jiangsu, Anwei, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Taiwan, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan and other places. It has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxification, removing wind and pain, and reducing swelling. Commonly used for sore throat, carbuncle swollen boils, snake bites, rheumatic arthralgia, stomach pain, athlete’s foot edema.
