Zinc citrate is also named trizinc citrate trihydrate.It’s a tribasic salt of citric acid. It is produced by complete neutralisation of citric acid with high purity zinc oxide, subsequent crystallisation and dehydration.It occurs as colorless crystalline powder. It is insoluble in water and practically soluble in acid.
